The Tampa Bay Rays continue to be the flavor of the week for other teams’ vacancies. In this case, the Kansas City Royals have selected the Rays’ bench coach of the last four years as their new manager: Mike Quartraro. Quartraro, 48, will be a first time manager.
Fan Interference 
Obviously, after 4 years, Quartraro’s time with the Rays was up. If they wanted a coach to stay longer they should have hired Mike Quintraro, Mike Sextraro, or Mike Septraro.
