Last night Max Scherzer took the mound for the first time in over two weeks. He was perfect through 6 innings, and the Mets wisely pulled him anyway—not wanting to risk reinjury. The bullpen was not perfect, but the Mets held on to win 7-2 over the Brewers.
It was the 200th win of his storied career (he’s now 200-101), joining Justin Verlander and Zack Greinke as the only active 200 game winners. It was also the game that has now clinched a playoff berth for the Mets.
But does the 200th win erase the black stain on his soul for leaving the Tigers?

Hmmm, I guess that’s a question for Beltran’s Niece and Spartan.

My answer is no. BN will likely chime in with “His Heterochromianess, ya’ll” if memory serves.
