This is Mike Trout’s age 30 season. We all know what a wonderful player he is. He will most certainly be a Hall of Famer immediately upon eligibility. However, this marks the last year that he can add new ”did this by age 30” achievements. He got one yesterday. It’s not just that he has scored 1000 runs, pretty remarkable by itself, it’s this—the all-time list of players with 1000+ runs, 300+ home runs, and 200+ stolen bases by age 30: Mike Trout, Willie Mays, Alex Rodriguez.
