Catcher Adley Rutschman is making his big league debut for the Baltimore Orioles versus the Tampa Bay Rays today. The 24-year-old has been tagged as one of the best prospects in baseball and as likely the best catcher in the Orioles’ organization—including at the major league level—for a couple years now. That’s not to criticize the Orioles, really—he was the star of of the 2018 CWS Oregon State team and the 2019 college player of the year…but there was no minor league season in 2020. That made last year his first season in pro ball. This season he began the year with a triceps strain and sent back to AAA. He’s hitting.309 at AAA so far this year.
Hmmm, name change coming? scoutsaysrutschmanisabust

Man WordPress makes it damn near impossible for me to even log in and comment these days, especially on mobile. Changing my name would be a whole production.
