In case you didn’t notice the autocorrect-hating name, Druw Jones is indeed the son of Andruw Jones. The young man, a high school senior, plays…centerfield. He has committed to play in college for Vanderbilt. However, don’t expect him ever to suit up for the Commodores. Why? It is because he just might be the #1 pick in this year’s draft.
He’s reputed to run well and to have a good glove. His response to hearing ”over rated” chants during an at bat in a recent high school game? Home run.
