File this under “duh”—articles were published yesterday stating that baseball players are not being tested for PEDs. Of course not. The CBA, and therefore the JDA, is expired. The owners have locked out the players. That means no contact between the league and its teams with the players. All of that means no testing. Does that mean ball players are allowed to go shoot up all the Stanozlol they want? Technically yes, but it wouldn’t be advisable—the work stoppage will eventually end. When it does, the JDA will be back in force and testing will resume.
