He and the White Sox blanked the Indians 8-0. He struck out 7, walked 0 on 114 pitches. He carried a perfect game into the 9th and lost it on a hit by pitch. He did complete the no-hitter though.
That brings up a bit of trivia—it was only the 6th time in baseball history where there was a no-hitter with a single base runner allowed due to a HBP. The last time that happened was…5 days ago by Joe Musgrove.
