Infielder DJ LeMahieu has signed a deal to stay with the Yankees for 6 years, $90,000,000. He’d turned down the $18,900,000 qualifying offer, but nobody I know of figured he would go anywhere else. He’s the first Yankee to win the AL batting title since Mickey Mantle in 1953, and the only player to win batting title in both the AL and NL since Ed Delahanty (1899, 1902).
