Tyler Skaggs’ Alleged Supplier Charged

On July 1, 2019 Angels pitcher Tyler Skaggs died of an overdose.  Autopsy later showed oxycodone, alcohol, and Fentanyl in his system.  Eric Kay, the Angels’ former Director of Communications has now been arrested in Ft Worth, TX for supplying the Fentanyl.  It’s reported there are text messages from Skaggs to Kay on June 30 asking for pills. Kay has been charged with illegal possession of a narcotic with intent to distribute and faces up to 20 years.
