Mexican League Axes Season

The Mexican League has announced it has cancelled  its 2020 summer season, due to the COVID-19 pandemic.  It’s the first time in 95 years they have cancelled a season.  It follows the official cancellation of the minor league season here yesterday.  It’s certainly understandable, but unfortunate.

Meanwhile, there is pro baseball ongoing in Taiwan, Japan, and South Korea.  Taiwan has been able to let some fans into games, and KBO is about to do so as well.
Here in the USA, “spring training 2.0” is underway with fingers crossed we will have games that count later this month, without fans in the stands of course.
