I noted there was no Juan Soto and no Max Muncy. The biggest head scratcher is Pete Alonzo and his rookie record 53 homers losing out to Freddie Freeman.
Meanwhile, Mike Trout garnered his 7th Silver Slugger. Among outfielders, that ties him with Ken Griffey, Jr, Vlad Guerrero, and Tony Gwynn. The only players with more: Barry Bonds (12) and Manny Ramirez (8). It seems like Trout is pretty good.

Honestly, I couldn’t recommend it enough. Love their general coverage, they do fantasy sports, too, plus have beat writers (1 or more) for every team in MLB, NHL, NBA, NFL, EPL, MLS, and probably more….they do analyses, human interest stories…the writing is great and there are no kinds of ads at all.

Winter draws near, along with all the snow that I no longer have the strength to shovel, waiting to know if my Twins are still in it, or if I am still alive come March – April. I personally, enjoy your insights.
