He Said, She Said – Scores and Highlights for 6/3/19

Prof: Just She Said today, I’m giving Scouty the day off. We’ve only got four games, so let’s take it easy. All breezy like.

Angels 1, Cubs 8 – Chicago’s been a little lackluster lately; the perfect time to go hard on an American League team. A bite of home cooking helped Jon Lester, who allowed only one run in seven innings and struck out six. A five run sixth inning didn’t hurt – nor did a Javier Baez and Willson Contreras pair of home runs.

Dodgers 3, Diamondbacks 1 – PITCHER’S DUEL!!! Walker Buehler had eleven strikeouts, Robbie Ray had nine. It was a three run homer from Corey Seager in the fourth inning – Ray’s one real mistake – that did the Gritty Snakes in.

Phillies 2, Padres 8 – The battle of Manny vs. Bryce, and this time it was Machado who reigned supreme. Manny had a grand slam against Phillies ace Aaron Nola to cap off an eventful sixth inning for San Diego.

Astros 4, Mariners 2 – Yuri Gurriel grounded out to the shortstop twice in this one, both times to drive home a run. Robinson Chirinos had a solo homer as well.

    1. There’s only one Tom Terrific and it’s sure as shit not that goob. The real Tom Terrific is classier, smarter, and braver than Brady even thought about being.

      1. I thought Curt Schilling had that one already trademarked. Or maybe that was just the “douchebag” part.

  1. Anyone notice what the Feesh have been doing to the Brewers tonite? Godzilla never stomped Boston like that….
Speaking of which, Ed Wood Jr. could not have written a stupider script than this current Godzilla film. See it on laughing gas.

  2. Question of the day in The OC is: which coach of WS winning Angels team and manager of WS winning Chicago Cubs team just came to town with those Cubs to beat the Angels into submission?
