The Pacific league Orix Buffaloes of Nippon Professional Baseball have been reported that they have struck a deal with SF Giants outfielder Chris Marrero, according to Jon Heyman’s Twitter link. Chris Marrero will be replacing Stefen Romero there in right field as he’s still currently in the DL after colliding with a wall in foul ground to make a catch last month.
Chris Marrero appeared in 15 games with the Giants this season, batting .132/.171/.211 with 1 homerun and 5 RBIs in 38 at-bats.
