Whoops! MadBum To Miss 6-8 Weeks Due To Dirt Bike Injury

I’m pretty sure it’s not exactly a wise decision to go playing around on Dirt Bikes in April if you are one of the best pitchers in Major League Baseball.  That sort of thing would seem to be a no-brainer for most anyone else in the league, but apparently not for Madison Bumgarner, who was never really accused of being exceptionally blessed in the mental department.

The four-time All Star and 2014 World Series MVP is a workhorse, entering the 2017 campaign having started at least 31 games and thrown at least 200 innings in six straight seasons.

He has looked like a top-of-the-rotation stud again this season with a 3.00 ERA, 1.07 WHIP and 28 strikeouts despite tallying losses in three of his first four starts.

Well, he did anyways before he blew up his throwing shoulder.
