George Brett to throw out ceremonial first pitch in Korea

Kansas City Royals Hall of Famer, and 13 time all-star MVP, George Brett, will throw out the ceremonial first pitch for the NC Dinos in their 3rd game of the league’s opening series in the Korean Baseball Organization at Masan stadium this April 2nd (Korean time), according to the report.

The NC Dinos organization said that they have become acquainted with George Brett through their off-season spring camp training during their time in the United States when they’re using the Rancho Cucamonga Quakes’ stadium facility, where George Brett was also the previous owner of the club last year (now taken over by his brother, Bobby Brett).

George Brett said that he is visiting South Korea this year to tend to private business in their country, and have also said that he is interested in Korean Baseball for quite a long time now.

George Brett played for 21 seasons there at the Major league level and has batting line of .305/.369/.487 with 317 homeruns and 1596 RBIs in his career, and has compiled 88.4 WAR during that span.
