Sung to the tune of “Candle In The Wind”
Goodbye, Scooter G.
Though you’re barely good at all, you had a goofy face, and made us laugh while those around you fall…
Yes, my small doof son, Scooter Gennett, was claimed off waivers by the Reds today. There goes one of the few reasons why I would care about Milwaukee! In Scooter’s honor, I should break out my bobble from its box and display it proudly.
Help me find the box.
I am in the process of moving into my own permanent place. Which, of course, means boxes galore. It’s been slow going, and I finally got the last of my stuff from the other place today, but I am too exhausted to take it out of my car. Haha. Scooter, his lovely wife, and their adorbs dog Leo will be moving soon, too. On my way to the East Coast, I drove through Ohio. Poor guy. No one deserves that fate.
Oh, Scoots. Your tenure in Milwaukee burned out long before your legend ever did.

Which just proves Klinger deserved that Section 8.
