Rob Manfred open to host World Baseball Classic final rounds outside the United States

Major League Baseball’s current commissioner, Rob Manfred, recently told the Kyodo news agency today that he is open to the possibility of hosting the final rounds of the World Baseball Classic outside the United States in the future in order to fully popularize and globalize the game of Baseball.

With all three editions of the previous World Baseball Classic semi-finals, and finals respectively that was held in San Diego (2006), Los Angeles (2009), San Francisco (2013), and back again in Los Angeles in this year’s WBC, Manfred now thinks that it’s about time to hold the finals, and semi rounds in foreign grounds as the World Baseball Classic is gaining popularity among other countries outside the United States.

No other statements where made on where the first championship rounds will take place once applied, though Japan, or maybe South Korea or Latin-America, are most likely interested in holding the final rounds knowing the WBC are big and well known in these countries.

  1. He’s going to run into trouble with this. It is clearly a blatant violation of the “‘Murica First” plan being pushed by SCROTUS (So-Called Ruler Of The United States) Trumplethinskin.
