Garrett Jones crushes homerun during BP in Japan, destroys car window

Here in NPB’s preseason, Garrett Jones (now in his second year in Japan) is already knocking balls, literally, right out of the park. In a batting practice just a while ago here at Naha, Okinawa, where the Yomiuri Giants are currently holding their annual spring camp… Former big leaguer, Garrett “G.I.” Jones blasted a homerun that was measured at 165 meters (at least 541 feet), which also went outside the stadium, hitting one of the reporters car that was parked outside Okinawa Cellular Stadium. Of course, Garrett Jones can’t do anything but laugh a little and apologize about the little incident, still I’m pretty sure the whole window car thing will be taken care of, and will soon be fixed immediately. The Yomiuri Giants will be at the Okinawa spring camp until March the 1st, along with some other NPB and KBO teams.
