Nikkan Sports, relayed by a sports media outlet in Cuba, indicated that Alfredo Despaigne received a 3-year offer from the Fukuoka Softbank Hawks a couple of days ago, which he’ll likely accept. The announced salary for that respective offer for Despaigne was around 1.8 billion Yen in annual salary, which also includes added incentives.
Alfredo Despaigne is still a free-agent, and is currently playing in the Cuban leagues right now at the moment with the NPB off-season still ongoing. Despaigne has had links with the Hawks previously after the end of the regular season, with media stating that Fukuoka are the strong favorites to land him with Chiba not able to retain him.
Alfredo Despaigne finished his 2016 regular season campaign batting .280/.361/.480 with 24 homeruns and 92 RBIs in 134 games played last year with the Marines.
Probably off by a decimal point, buddy. 1.8 billion yen is like $16M or so.

I just live in Japan and know the salary amounts because I run a Hanshin Tigers page. Nothing special… just 8 fingers here.

It appears the deal is worth ¥1.5B over 3 years, so nearly $5M per season…
