Cory Snyder to manage the Chinatrust Brothers

The Chinatrust Brothers of the CPBL (Chinese Professional Baseball League) have announced yesterday that they have hired former, and retired big leaguer Cory Snyder, 54, to manage the team for the upcoming season. He is expected to arrive in Taiwan in mid-January, according to the report.

Cory Snyder managed the Pericos de Puebla team in the Mexican league this year, he led his team to their first ever Mexican Baseball championship in 30 years, as they defeated the Tijuana Toros 4 games to 2 in the 2016 LMB (Liga Mexicana de Beisbol) title, he was also just the only fourth American manager to win Mexico’s highest professional level Baseball championship in the country.
