Free Agent right-handed pitcher Phil Klein, 27, will be playing his next season in NPB (Nippon Professional Baseball) with the Yokohama DeNA Baystars of the Central league, an announcement was made just today. According to the report, the contract details for Phil Klein was said to be on a one-year deal worth an estimated 150 million Yen (1.27 million USD), he will primarily be used a starter for the upcoming season, uniform number is yet to be known.
Phil Klein played for 3 years there at the Major league level (with the Texas Rangers, and Philadelphia Phillies respectively). He currently owns a record of 2-3, along with an earned run average of 5.50 in 40 games played (55.2 innings pitched) in his big league career, primarily as a reliever.
