Anthony Ranuado signs with Samsung Lions

Chicago White Sox right-handed pitcher, Anthony Ranuado, 27, will be playing his next season in the KBO (Korean Professional Baseball) with the Samsung Lions, an announcement was made just today. Via link, the contract details for Ranuado was said to be on a one-year deal worth an estimated 1.232 billion Won (1.05 million USD), Anthony Ranuado will primarily be used as a starter for the upcoming KBO league season.

The New Jersey native Anthony Ranuado played for 3 seasons there at the Major league level (Boston Red Sox, Texas Rangers, and Chicago White Sox respectively). He currently owns a record of 5-5 with an earned run average of 7.01 in 20 games played (14 games in which he started, with a total of 86 innings pitched) in his Major league career. He finished his 2016 regular season campaign with the White Sox posting a record of 0-1 with an earned run average of 8.46 in 7 games played (started 5 games, with 27.2 innings pitched).
