RH pitcher, Brian Schlitter, 30, will be playing his next season in NPB (Nippon Professional Baseball) with the Seibu Lions, of the Pacific League, an announcement was made just today, via link.
A press conference is set to take place on November 11 for Schlitter’s introduction along with its contract details, he will also wear the jersey number 47, according to his team.
Brian Schlitter played for 3 years there at the Major league level, all of those are with the Chicago Cubs. He currently owns a 3-6 record with a 5.40 ERA in 78 games played (71.2 innings pitched) in his big league career, pitching as reliever.
