Really sad to see, though I know pretty much about A-Rod’s history, it’s still hard not to get emotional over this.

Alex Rodriguez played his final game today with the Yankees at home, facing the Tampa Bay Rays, DH’ing (was moved to 3rd base in the 9th), he finished the night going 1 for 4 with an RBI double in a 6-3 Yankees win.

Incidentally, Jar Jar Baseball had some nice things to say about A-Roid today, stoking rumors that Scrooge McLoria might want to take him on at the major league minimum salary. I think that’s fine. Scarface finished his career here, so why schouldn’t A-Roid?
