(Must watch video, Michael Bowden’s no-hitter highlight, property of SPOTV, will redirect you to Youtube.)

Michael Bowden, is now just the 3rd only foreign pitcher, so far, in the KBO (founded in 1982) to throw a no-hitter… going back-to back-to back with foreign pitchers throwing yearly no-hitters, since NC Dinos Charlie Shirek did it in year 2014 against the Doosan Bears, and former Doosan Bears Yunesky Maya last season, against the Nexen Heroes… this too, also, is just the 13th recorded no-hitter in KBO league history.

Michael Bowden threw 139 pitches, hitting one batter, walking 3, while striking out 9 to accomplish it. He improved his record to 10-3 now this season, with a 3.34 ERA.

The former Major leaguer, Michael Bowden, played for 6 years at the Major league level for 2 different organizations (Redsox, and the Cubs). With a total record of 3-5 in 133.2 innings pitched (103 games overall, 2 games in which he started), while owning an ERA of 4.51.
