April HBPiD Report — Awww, Nuts

We are a month into the 2016 baseball season and so far, I am sad to report, we have zero — ZERO — HBPiD’s on record.

That’s a big goose egg in the stats column league-wide, for those  of you following at home.

Rest assured that I am on the watch, however, and will keep you informed of any incidents. If any of you has a sighting, be sure to send me a (foul) tip so we don’t miss anything.

In the meantime, we’ll have to settle for some consolation in Umpire Tony Randazzo getting hit in the balls by a bouncer in the Orioles-Jays game April 20th — in honor of which, let’s revisit a classic Vin Scully moment.

(A big thanks to the Prof for our official HBPiD Watch graphics.)
