Mariners Lee Dae-ho blast first walk-off homerun in the Major Leagues

(Really a must watch video, the Korean announcers just yelled to the heavens on this one… via MBCsports+)

New Mariners addition, Lee Dae-ho (33 years old), just blasted his second homerun in his first season in the Major Leagues, a walk-off pinch hit 2-run homerun off Rangers reliever Jake Diekman’s 97 mph fastball at the bottom of the 10th inning… giving the Mariners a 4-2 victory over the Texas Rangers. Lee just snapped the Mariners 5 game losing streak via 2 run walk-off homerun.

Lee Dae-ho is currently the only player in Mariners history so far to hit a pinch hit walk-off homerun in his first season as a rookie, and just the third player only so far in franchise history behind Ken Phelps and Kendrys Morales to hit a pinch hit walk-off homerun… TRULY a moment to remember for Major League rookie Lee Dae-ho, a.k.a “Big Boy”.
