Pretty cool time lapse showing the construction of Baseball’s largest video screen

(Awesome…)

If the first video isn’t working, you can check the second one here in English version (H/T to longfootlefty for this one).

Based from the previous story, the SK Wyverns made history in the Baseball books by introducing the largest ever Baseball video screen in all of Baseball, even surpassing the one in Safeco Field… The SK Wyverns video screen which was built by Samsung, (that is 64 meters in length, and 18 meters in height) took at least 3 months to accomplish, and ended sometime in March… Also, as reported by SK Samsung news just this week, this large video screen consists of approximately 16,320 LED modules in 96 cabinets… with IP67 (International Protection 67) dust and water resistant, and can also endure very cold temperatures down to -40 degrees Celsius, and sun heat up to 55 degrees Celsius… Not to mention fans can also play games (Baseball Heroes) using the giant video screen during inning breaks!

Again, truly AWESOME…

  1. Very impressive scoreboard. You gotta wonder how much bigger they will make them. It’s seems every year or so some other city/stadium is breaking the previous record. If I was sitting behind home plate looking out at the field, this would be a major distraction. I can only imagine what it looks like to a hitter.
