Nike gives custom MVP cleats to Blue Jays’ Josh Donaldson

Cool story by Donnovan Bennett over on Sportsnet.ca about Nike presenting AL MVP Josh Donaldson with a customized pair cleats:

The gift was a customized version of the Huarache 2K Filth, a shoe he’s worn since this year’s all-star game. Donaldson’s stats are engraved on the shoe and the colourway takes inspiration from the MVP award itself. The shoes and custom box were delivered exclusively to the third baseman.

They look pretty sick, but that silver/gold combo may clash a bit with the Jays’s royal blue and white.
