I was definitely high on the White Sox (or perhaps high when writing the predictions). Although many experts were high on them considering their better than average offseason. That didn’t pan out so well and I blame Adam LaRoche’s beard. I was sure the Rangers were toast after Darvish went down. Prince surprised me with his on-base dominance too. Most wrong of all with respect to the AL, I was certain the Royals would not be able to sustain their magical run, but lo and behold, they are right back in it.
In the NL, the Marlins were going to surprise everyone, but that was because they were going to be healthy. Jose was going to win every game between June and September. Stanton was on pace to hit 1,000 donger bongs but he got a boo boo (fyi – donger bongs is a knew term for home runs). The Giants did put up a fight but only for a while. The Mets shined more than I would have expected. The Phillies and Braves sucked just like they were supposed to…nailed that one.
So, again, let’s hope the world doesn’t end, you guys!  Let me know if any of you made predictions earlier this season.

  1. I made no predictions but I wish yours had been more right. If the Tigers had no had so many injuries, I think the Royals would not have bested us for the division.
