So the Jays and Orioles will play a doubleheader tomorrow. If the Empire loses tonight (providing they don’t get rained out as well) and the Jays win game 1 tomorrow, there could be a mini celebration between the games.

Pretty much the same situation with the STL/PIT game being rained out tonight….although STL doesn’t have to rely on anyone else’s results. They win game 1 tomorrow and they win the division.

Yeah, I’ve been following along with it, and it’s gone perfectly as far as my fantasy league is concerned. I’ve got Kershaw, and one of the guys trying to chase me down for the championship in the final week has Bumgarner.

I could use a day off. Losing Martinez Friday in a game where they blew a late 3-1 lead, the disastrous 9th inning meltdown Sunday, then Piscotty last night, followed by the miracle win (Pirates tied the modern record for most runners stranded (16) without scoring a run. My fandom is exhausted.

Yeah, there wasn’t another game to switch to, so I left it on….final score is going to be 45-43.
On TV, I can watch the Red Sox-Yankees on ESPN, the Red Sox-Yankees on on NESN, or the Red Sox-Yankees on on YES. Such variety! Oh, also the Mets and someone…whatever, I don’t care what anyone says, I can’t stand listening to Hernandez talk…he and Darling always sound so bitter…just hard to enjoy the broadcast.

Ok, Holaday is not a good backup catcher. If we don’t find a better one, we need to re-sign Avila to back McCann up. This is clownshoes now. Maybe Brad put in the second string to let the Rangers win so we wouldn’t give the Astros a chance. Ridiculous fielding here.

Cubs were very nearly the first team in history to shut out three different opponents on three consecutive days….but Jackson had to make a 3-base error to start the bottom of the 9th and fuck it all up.
