Yoenis Cespedes tells ESPN he wants 6+ years from his next contract
Hard to see how he does not get it with the all-world final two months he is having (please note….I did not say “valuable”). The dollar figure could be well north of $100 Mil with that many years.
Start Spreadin’ the News….he’s leaving the Mets
He gone!

He is objectively worth MAYBE….. 4 years, MAYBE….80/90 million, after that you own him. If you’re a GM that wants to pay him more? Guess what, he gets to live with you after you’ve fired and your ex-wife moves out because he is teamless and he already is collecting money. Why is he on your couch?

very inconsistent, specially his mediocre OBP….and he will not hit 35 again…he is a 25 homers hitter with a 270 average….not worth 120 m or 140 m…..Cespedes is not worth more than 60/70 M and not 6 years…3/4 years….counting he is really 30…..
