    1. That man has been in the league for umpteen billion years now, and he still doesn’t know what to do with the bat if he gets a hit. It’s the cutest thing I’ve ever seen, like small children, or puppies.


    1. back before the innings clock, when he had thrown 5 or 6 or 7 or 8 warm up pitches, whenever he deemed himself “warm,” he would stand on top of the mound looking into home plate idly tossing the ball up and catching it in his bare hand until the tv came back from commercial and the umpire pointed at him


    1. i was not a fan until he came to my team. then I couldn’t belive what I was missing. he was so beloved in the clubhouse all the A”s were super bummed when he was suspended because ol bart was not going to be with them. he was suspended at the same time as Melky, and the contrast in how the clubshouses spoke of the suspended could not have been more different.
